Only wines from the heart of the Chianti region have the "Classico" appellation. The blend comprises predominantly of Sangiovese. Produced from vineyards in Gaiole the assembled blend is aged for 9 months in large barrels and barriques. A wine produced for younger drinking but still full and round.
