"Les Charmes" lies on a soil of average depth, alternating between clay and limestone, and crucially covered with calcareous stones. This gives the wines plenty of fruit and body. The grapes were grown from selected old vines, and with strict control of yield, from healthy soils with good levels of humus and nutrients.
Ripe and pure on the nose with peach notes. Dry and full bodied, with sweet fruit flavours but plenty of balancing acidity.
