A complex bouquet of red and black berries, damson, blackcurrant complemented by mineral notes and hints of spice. Ripe al Convento is opulent and smooth on the palate, with rich, elegant tannins and indulgent notes of coffee and tobacco. The finish is almost endless, a treat for the senses.

Castelgiocondo was built in 1100 and was one of the first four estates to produce and bottle the Brunello di Montalcino wine at the end of the 19th century. With 151 hectares under vine, Castelgiocondo is the largest vine-growing estate in Brunello.
