A slightly deeper colour than the previous vintages due to an excellent McLaren Vale harvest. Lifted brown spice aromas and background char from the oak maturation. The palate has an abundance of black fruit pastille and forest notes. A touch riper as well but certainly not over the top. Ripe dusty tannins that will see this wine in good stead over the next 10 years or so.
