The As a range pays homage to the founders of C.V.N.E.   the Real de As a brothers   from whom the company s current owners are direct descendants.
A different project to the Imperial wines, the As a range shows the spirit of traditional Rioja terroir and winemaking combined with some more modern characteristics. In the Reserva, this manifests in an intense nose with wild berries and liquorice at the forefront but a freshness and cleanliness announce themselves too. The sweet spices thanks to its 18 months in French and American oak mingle subtly, as does the influence of the (minimum) 18 months it spends ageing underground in the bottle before being released.
