Payment

We accept Credit Card and Debit Card payments online.

Cards we accept, (MasterCard / Visa / Visa Delta / Visa Electron / Visa Purchasing / JCB / Solo / Switch/Amex).

The goods will not be delivered until the customer's funds that have been paid to Paul Adams fine Wines have cleared in full.

Order Notes

Please note that all transactions will be carried out in Pounds Sterling. We can only accept orders in pounds Sterling for delivery within the UK Mainland.

Once you have placed your order, confirmation will be sent to you via e-mail complete with Transaction and Order Reference numbers.

We will not be held responsible for pricing errors due to software mal-functions, or human error. This website operates on an 'invitation to treat' basis and not as an 'offer for sale' as a result, Paul Adams Fine Wines reserves the right to decline orders for bulk or high value purchases.

Stock

All items are subject to availability. If your item is not in stock, we will contact you with the option either to cancel your order or to wait until we can get hold of some, or to see whether you’d like us to provide you with a suitable alternative of a similar quality and price. We like to keep you informed of what’s going on!

Delivery

Your order will be sent to you in 5 working days. Every effort is taken to package the wine in sufficient protection to ensure that it will arrive in prime condition, however from time to time breakages will occur and deliveries go astray, it is essential for the protection of your rights that you advise us immediately in writing in the event that any delivery has been damaged, or is incomplete.

If you specify special delivery instructions we will do our best to comply with these. NB. If you ask us or our delivery agent to leave deliveries in a particular place then once left as instructed they are at your risk. We cannot be held responsible if they get damaged or go astray.

We will resolve all delivery issues as quickly as we can with the minimum of inconvenience to you.

Returns and Refunds

Returning items is the responsibility of the customer, who is liable for the cost of returns. The customer must ensure all reasonable care is taken to ensure the safe return of items and in their original packaging where appropriate. Failure to return at the customers expense (except where the items are faulty or do not comply with the contract) Paul Adams fine wines will recover the items and offset the amount against any refund due. If the items are faulty or do not comply with the contract The Paul Adams fine wines will be liable for return charges.

Refunds for returned and cancelled orders will be made as soon as possible. We aim to refund no later than within thirty days of receipt of goods back at our depot.

Paul Adams fine wines will offer a complete refund if any of the wines are faulty. In such an unlikely eventuality, we reserve the right to ask for the item to be returned for inspection and all cost will be credited accordingly. This does not apply where approved substitutes or new vintages other than those advertised have been shipped.

Vintages have a habit of changing. We reserve the right to change the vintage without notice.

The Photographs shown on the web site are for aesthetic purposes only and do not form part of the contract. The wines sold are as shown in the title and description. If you have any doubts please comtact us to ensure your choice is the correct one.

Returns Policy & Guarantee

In accordance with the EU Distance Selling Directive, you are entitled to cancel your order at anytime within 7 days of receiving your goods. The cancellation period ends on the expiry of the period of 7 working days beginning with the day after the day on which the you received the goods. If you wish to cancel an order under these terms, first contact us and then return your products unopened within 7 days of receiving your parcel. You will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us
