Bright purple black in colour. It has intense aromas of Christmas cake, black fruits, plums, dark chocolate and clove spice. On the palate the wine is rich and juicy with intense dark fruit flavours and ripe tannins. Clarry is soft, but full with a solid structure. Complex and refined, this blend is completed by a very intense and lengthy finish. "Kalleske family have established themselves at the forefront of the Barossa Valley’s new wave of wine producers. This overnight success has, of course, been 150 years in the making. Their precious old vines squeeze out low yields of intensely flavoured grapes – some of which, incredibly, find their way into this ludicrously well-priced wine!
