Situated in the foothills of St Emilion, this small vineyard of 7.4 hectares has exceptional terrior with old vines (more than 25 years). Handpicking, careful ageing in barrels enables this wine to be one of the flagships of the Saint-Emilion Grand Crus.
A delicious nose of forest fruits, spice and toasty oak entices you into the velvety palate of soft smooth black fruit with spicy warmth of clove, cinnamon and tobacco. Very fine tannins sit in harmony with the fruit and acidity, and despite it's welcoming softness, there's lots of layers of flavour. Really well made and showing really well at the moment.
